Deputy Permanent Secretary for Finance Supha Piyachit was Wednesday nominated as a new member of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Senate's NACC Selection Committee voted to nominate Supha to the full Senate to approve for the position.
Supha is due to retire in September.
She once came out to warn that the rice pledging schemes was at huge losses and the number of losses was much higher than the figures given by the government.
