Udomdej appointed new Army chief

Deputy Army chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr has been appointed the new Army chief in the annual reshuffle that has been approved by a royal command.
The reshuffle, which will take effect on October 1, also saw Assistant Army Chief Gen Chatchai Sarikalya promoted to the post of deputy Army chief.
Deputy Army Chief-of-Staff Gen Chatchalerm Chalermsuk was promoted to the post of Army chief-of-staff.
