Opinion Three reasons why I'm not impressed with Yingluck

I share John Arnone's low opinion of Prime Minister Yingluck. While there are about 20 reasons why I can't stand her, let me give you three:
Although the red shirts risked their lives to help her become prime minister, she has not lifted a finger to help those red shirts who are rotting in prison because of the lese majeste law. Even when that poor old man who was in prison for violating that law died a painful death, she did not utter one word of sympathy.
I was stunned that a female prime minister would allow her minister of tourism to practically say that the Dutch woman who was raped in Krabi provoked the crime. If I were the prime minister, I would have sent that minister a two-word e-mail: "You're fired."
While as an animal rights activist I didn't expect anything from her, the fact that her government practically waged war against the Elephant Nature Park - about the only place in Thailand that treats elephants kindly - brought the level of cruelty to animals in Thailand to a new high.
Underneath her looks and fashionable clothes lies a person who has shown no character or human kindness.
