The Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) has asked the Constitutional Court to rule on the legality of anti-government protests led by the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC).
Tarit Pengdith, Department of Special Investigation chief, said CMPO chief Chalerm Yoobamrung had signed a petition to be submitted to the Constitutional Court.
He said that although several other petitions on the issue had already been submitted to the court, this time the CMPO has gathered additional evidence about legal offences allegedly committed by core members of the PDRC. "The CMPO's petition includes details of legal offences, comprising 89 folders, each containing about 300 pages."
